The Embassy of Malta in Poland participates in the 10th edition of the Diplomatic International Charity Bazaar

On Sunday 3 December 2017 Embassy of Malta in Poland held its annual appointment with the Diplomatic International Charity Bazaar, organised by the Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHOM).  This year’s was the tenth edition of the Bazaar, and it was held under the patronage of the First Lady of Poland, Ms Agata Kornhauser-Duda.

The Maltese stand featured a variety of Maltese products including Maltese glass as well as wines, beers, Kinnie, gbejniet, galletti, olive, oil, honey, capers, sun-dried tomatoes and Twistees. This year the Embassy managed to triple its amount of sales over last year. Almost 6000 PLN (1700 EUR) were raised.

The Embassy would like to thank the company Quick Turtle for the continued assistance in transporting goods from Malta as well as Strand Palace Agencies and Mdina Glass for their support.

A word of appreciation also goes to the staff of the Embassy and the Maltese - Mr Keith Bartolo, Mr Sylvan Bonello, and Mr Ryan Gauci – who assisted on the Maltese stand and helped the spouse of the Ambassador, who was responsible of the money collection of this year’s Bazaar.

All proceeds of the Bazaar go to Charitable Organisations whose projects were pre-chosen by the Spouses’ Association. Around 50 Embassies participated in this year’s edition.
