Ambassador of Malta to Poland discusses diplomacy with students

Reference Number:  , Press Release Issue Date: May 10, 2018

April has become a month synonymous with outreach of university students to diplomacy in Warsaw.  For the second year, the Ambassador of Malta to Poland, Natasha Meli Daudey accepted to host two groups of students and to answer their questions on diplomacy, current international affairs and Malta.

The first group was formed by international students attending the Warsaw-based European Academy of Diplomacy, while the other was formed by students attending various universities around Poland participating in the 7th edition of the Action Diplomacy organised by the Foreign Affairs Club of the Warsaw School of Economics.  Both programs provide their participants with the opportunity to meet and discuss with Ambassadors of different countries.

The two occasions provided a platform for interesting and lively exchanges on various topics particularly the political and economic situation in Malta, bilateral relations between Poland and Malta, challenges facing the new international order, challenges facing the European neighbourhood, particularly the Mediterranean region, and migration.  The students were also very curious to learn more about the life of a diplomat and the challenges of the profession, particularly for women.
