Ambassador of Malta in Poland visits the Malta Tourism Authority stand at the Warsaw TT International Travel Fair

On the 21st November, the ambassador of ​Malta to Poland, Dr. John Paul Grech, visited the stand of the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) at the 28th edition of the ‘International Travel Show TT Warsaw’ , which took place between the 21-24 November.

This year, more than 500 exhibitors from 53 different countries participated during the three day long fair which took place in the Polish capital.

Ambassador Grech expressed his satisfaction with the representatives of the Malta Tourism Authority following the decision by the organisers to recognize the excellent work carried out by the Maltese operators in the tourism industry and to grant Malta with the award of ‘Best Active Tourism Destination in Poland’.

Ambassador Grech stated that this is a recognition of the sterling work carried out by the Maltese tourism operators in this sector, in a market which is both promising and expanding.  He further stated that this award should spur all those involved in this sector to work even hard with a view to ensure that tourism between Malta and Poland is further strengthened.
